8. The Meat Hook + Beco: Williamsburg, Brooklyn

It’s totally that springy time of year when every weekend should involve a BBQ. Even if you don’t have a backyard. Luckily there are kind friends & family with backyards and rooftop grills.  And The Meat Hook for beautiful steak, sausage … not to mention impulse buys at every turn - badass knives, cool jars, home brewing supplies.  And for a drink after, when you just want to sit by big open windows, there’s Beco - beachy Brazilian vibes in Brooklyn. We love the pao de quejo with drinks - and for brunch and dinner, the filet mignon sandwich.
